What's your theological worldview?

I found this quiz thanks to Mark O some of the questions are very interesting. Some took a lot of thought for me. I know anyone can make a quiz, but I really liked this one and found it to be very thought provoking.

Here is what they said about me...

"You scored as Emergent/Postmodern. You are Emergent/Postmodern in your theology. You feel alienated from older forms of church, you don't think they connect to modern culture very well. No one knows the whole truth about God, and we have much to learn from each other, and so learning takes place in dialogue. Evangelism should take place in relationships rather than through crusades and altar-calls. People are interested in spirituality and want to ask questions, so the church should help them to do this."

Follow the links above to take the quiz yourself. I think my results would be even stronger taking it again. Some of my answers were a little soft. If you got a few minutes take the quiz and tell me what you think!

Enjoy!

Here's mine:
It all cracks me up because I went to a Wesleyan College and I didn't agree with a ton of his doctrine! Maybe this quiz is a little off? Or maybe I believe just the basics of it. :)

You scored as Evangelical Holiness/Wesleyan.

You are an evangelical in the Wesleyan tradition. You believe that God's grace enables you to choose to believe in him, even though you yourself are totally depraved. The gift of the Holy Spirit gives you assurance of your salvation, and he also enables you to live the life of obedience to which God has called us. You are influenced heavly by John Wesley and the Methodists.

Hey Erika!

Thanks for sharing your results. As far as Neo Orthodoxy goes here are two things to help explain. Have you ever heard of the theologian Reinhold Niebuhr? He is a big name in Neo Orthodoxy. But if you google Neo Orthodoxy it will tell you a lot. Or you can simply try this link for some basic information about Niebuhr and Neo Othodoxy. The link is

It's great to hear from you and to see your results. I don't really believe this is a "accurate" way of rating your theological worldview, but it is interesting! Hope you found this to be true too! Take care!

I love quizzes. My result's were the same as Bridgets; I am an "Evangelical Holiness/Wesleyan." But "Emergent/Postmodern" was snapping right at its heels, onlyabout a 5% difference. I didn't know who a couple of the theologians were so I had to just mark my answer in the middle. I wonder how much of a difference that made? Fascinating stuff; thanks Rich!

I took it again and here were my percentages. A little greater of a gap this time. The things I don't know about are Karl Barth, Bishop Spong, and "Sola Scriptura" (although I think I can make an educated guess on the last one.)

Emergent/Postmodern 79%
Neo orthodox 64%
Fundamentalist 46%

Modern Liberal 36%

ERIN MY DEAR!

Thanks for participating! It is cool to see what different people get for there results! I must say that if you are interested Karl Barth is awesome! But he is deep and intense at times (which you might enjoy)! Spong I don't know much about either, but the sola scriptura is interesting too, and yes I am sure you can guess what it means. :) I can't wait to see you at the Leffel's!
